The AG7648 is a high performance top of rack (ToR)/leaf bare metal switch design for today data centers, who wish to avoid the vendor lock-in with integrated switch designs. It has forty-eight 10GbE SFP+ ports and six 40GbE QSFP ports. The AG7648 provides comprehensive hardware capability on supporting layer 2 and layer 3 features, including SNMP, Spanning Tree, VLAN, QinQ, Trunk, QoS, RIP, OSPF, IGMP, DVMRP, PIM-DM, PIM-SM, Access Control, etc. provided by FCoE and MPLS functions are also supported on the AG7648 switch platform. The AG7648 is designed for different CPU support which provide a flexibility of loading L2/L3 software applications by different vendors and high-speed throughput. This switch carries on AGEMA’s goal of producing affordable, high performance data center bare metal switches.
