    Description

Up for consideration is an Antique Civil War era Spelter Soldier Figure playing a bugle while walking. The piece measures about 20.5 inches in height. The sculpture itself dates predates the time it was used as a trophy. In essence it is a 1880's sculpture turned into a Trophy some time in the 30's. It is marked Ann Arbor (Michigan) Rifle Trophy and sports a variety of "winners" on all sides as there are 3 plaques. The dates on the plaque are from the late 1930's into the 40's.  There are no visible repairs. There is some loss of color that is the bronze finish is gone...there is some discoloration and the base has a very thick layer of paint that has flaked off in areas and is exposing the steel. The steel is oxidizing. This is a great trophy for local shooting enthusiasts but there are no rules anyone may purchased thanks...
Buyer pays shipping. Please check out my other listings... as I have another large Trophy same estate.
