A home is a family hearth, but a prayer should be heard in the home of a believer, because the home of an Orthodox Christian is a small Church. We pray in front of icons, as this is a means of communication between a person and God or saints.
The icons in our iconostasis are arranged according to all the rules and traditions of the Orthodox Church. The central place in the iconostasis is occupied by the image of the Savior. To the right of the Savior is the image of the Mother of God, and to the left is the image of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. Above the main icons is the image of the Holy Trinity. At the top of the iconostasis is crowned with a cross. The letter designation of the Almighty and the Mother of God is made in accordance with the canons of the Orthodox Church.
