This cast iron short block includes the crankcase/cylinder block, all bearings, crankshaft, camshaft, timing gears, connecting rods (forged), standard pistons and rings, valve train, and oil pump. It was built with the tabbed flyball spacer for more reliable governor operation. Before assembling the engine, check to see if the number of bearings in the new short block governor assembly is the same as the number in the original short block. If not, remove the governor ball bearings as required. Includes a basic factory instruction manual, engine parts build list with torque and clearance specs (it's mimeographed, so it's hard to read), and factory Onan 'THIS ENGINE HAS BEEN SHORT BLOCKED' sticker. This is the original replacement short block. Your rebuilder will be glad you have this original short block on hand when it's time for service.
